Number two son has been struck down with baby man flu this week. As the colour has drained from his face, so has his appetite disappeared into the ether. So I’ve turned to my trusty Nutribullet to pump his achey, coughing and overheating little frame with this brilliant ‘immune booster’. The juice is packed full of antioxidant goodness and tastes divine. Definitely one to share.
What Goes In
1-2 handfuls of rinsed baby spinach
1 peeled orange
5/6 cubes of pineapple
1 handful of blueberries
2 tsp chia powder
If you’re making it in a NutriBullet, don’t forget to add water to the max line.
Pop in the blender and whizz for 30 seconds.
Give Learn Enrich Fruity Tip
Like any juice, they are easier and nicer to drink really cold. I buy tubs of fresh pineapple cubes from the supermarket and keep them in the freezer. They double up as gorgeous fresh fruit and ice cube in one. Perfect!
Nutribullet Juice Magic
Santa was really generous this year and, tucked into the bottom of my (rather large) stocking was a Nutribullet. If you haven’t come across one yet, this small blender packs an incredibly powerful punch. Thanks to its bullet cyclonic action, everything is forced into the turbo extractor blades, completely breaking down your food, liquefying and mixing together all the essential nutrients. It really is ridiculously easy, and fast, to use and clean as well which is perfect if you’re always rushing from A to B and can’t be faffed to hook the million-and-one blender components out of the cupboard.
